Safety Support for the Moments That Matter

RONGOshield brings together safety detection, coordination and response services designed to help individuals and organisations manage safety concerns through a more structured process. Service availability and capabilities depend on the applicable deployment and service tier.

01

Detection

Services designed to support safety monitoring and identify concerns that may need follow-up.

Protected Journey

When it may be relevant

When someone is travelling alone — commuting late, visiting an unfamiliar area, or moving between locations where a safety concern could arise — and wants a way to keep relevant contacts informed.

What it is designed to support

Designed to support journey monitoring and help identify when a journey may need follow-up. Available monitoring and coordination capabilities depend on the current deployment.

Safety Check-In

When it may be relevant

When a person or organisation wants periodic confirmation that an individual is safe, without requiring continuous monitoring.

What it is designed to support

Designed to support scheduled safety confirmations and identify missed check-ins for follow-up through the contact and coordination options available in the user's service tier and deployment.

Check-in intervals and follow-up options are configured per deployment.

02

Coordination

Services that help users connect with the appropriate people and support pathways when a safety concern arises.

Live Safety Support

When it may be relevant

When someone is in an uncertain or developing situation and needs a pathway to communicate a safety concern and seek support.

What it is designed to support

Designed to provide a pathway for users to communicate a safety concern and seek human coordination where that service is available. Coordinator availability and response arrangements depend on the deployment.

This service does not replace emergency services.

Trusted Circle

When it may be relevant

When an individual wants specific people — family members, colleagues, or designated contacts — to be kept informed during an active safety concern.

What it is designed to support

Designed to help users notify designated trusted contacts through the supported contact and notification functionality.

Notifications depend on contact availability and device reachability. Delivery is not guaranteed in all network conditions.

03

Personal Protection

When it may be relevant

When an individual or organisation needs personal-protection assistance for a specific event, journey, or period of elevated concern.

What it is designed to support

Intended to help users access personal-protection assistance through applicable service arrangements. Availability, provider verification, fulfilment and charges must be confirmed for the relevant location and deployment.

Pay-per-use. Not available in all areas. Subject to advance coordination.

Safe Ride

When it may be relevant

When someone needs to leave a location safely and wants transport arranged as part of a safety-focused support process.

What it is designed to support

Medical Help

When it may be relevant

When a safety event involves a medical concern — either a need for non-urgent guidance or coordination of urgent assistance.

What it is designed to support

Supports two intended pathways: Talk to Doctor for non-urgent medical guidance, and Urgent Medical Help for coordination of urgent assistance through the applicable service arrangements. Availability and charges depend on the service and deployment.

Emergency Capabilities

SOS and Siren are emergency capabilities within the RONGOshield experience. They are separate from the nine services in the catalogue. Their current MVP behaviour is described below.

SOS

SOS is an emergency capability within the RONGOshield experience. In the current MVP, activating SOS provides the implemented local feedback but does not itself connect the user to a RONGOshield coordinator or directly contact emergency services.

For immediate danger, use the appropriate official emergency service.

Siren

Siren is a device-level audible alert intended to help draw attention to the user's immediate surroundings. In the current MVP, it plays locally and does not itself notify a coordinator or contact emergency services.

Effectiveness depends on the device and the physical environment.

Enterprise & Institutional

Corporate Employee Safety

Organisations with employees who travel, work in the field, or operate in environments with elevated safety risk can deploy RONGOshield's service portfolio as a structured employee safety programme.

Structured journey monitoring for field and travelling staff

Coordinator-led incident management with a full audit record

Configurable trusted-circle notifications for duty-of-care compliance

Response coordination through applicable service arrangements

Discuss a Corporate Safety Pilot

If you are evaluating RONGOshield for your organisation, we can walk you through the service portfolio, discuss deployment options, and explore what a pilot programme would look like for your specific context.

Availability and deployment scope are discussed during the pilot conversation. No commitment is required to enquire.
